Pierce Brosnan: Obama Could Play James Bond

The Hunk and Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan shares why he thinks President-elect Barack Obama has what it takes to be a good 007.

"He's cool enough. He's definitely got the walk and the talk, yes," the actor told People magazine at the second annual Jane Goodall Institute Global Leadership Awards Celebration in Washington, D.C. "But I think he's going to make a greater president," Brosnan said, adding, "And Mr. Daniel Craig is a great Bond of his time."

Brosnan, 55, who has been filming the sequel to 'The Thomas Crown Affair,' also spoke about a possible female lead. "Charlize Theron is someone who I've always admired. I think she's someone who has acquitted herself grandly," Brosnan told People.

Brosnan and his wife Keely received the award for Responsible Activism in Media and Entertainment for their active support of Roots & Shoots, a global environmental youth program started by Goodall. He is very good in playing James Bond movies.

Madonna and Britney Together in Concert!

The first ever Britney and Madonna's L.A. concert Thursday night as the Material Mom gave Dodger Stadium an extra "sticky and sweet" treat: Britney Spears took the stage! But Madonna had a second huge musical surprise in store for the crowd, too!

Half way through Madonna's hit song "Human Nature," Britney made her way onto the stage for a jaw-dropping, joint performance -- where the two simultaneously sang, "We're not sorry -- It's human nature." After the duet, the pop princess made an outfit change and came back to watch the show!

If that surprise weren't enough, Madonna also shared the stage with pop sensation Justin Timberlake!

Madonna's children -- Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, 7 -- were brought out from the backstage area just ten minutes before the big performance kicked off to watch their mom rock the house. Also on hand for Madonna's big LA show were A-list star Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Kate Moss, Lucy Liu, and Hayden Panettiere!

Madonna and Britney famously took the stage together at the 2003 MTV VMAs. They are great!

Will Smith and Steven Spielberg Together at Last?!

The best director ever Steven Spielberg. Are superstar filmmaker Steven Spielberg and box-office sensation Will Smith collaborating on a new project?

Variety reports that Spielberg and Smith are currently in early discussions to join forces for the very first time, on a remake of Chan Wook Park's 2003 drama 'Oldboy.'

The trade paper says if Spielberg is given the green light for the movie, the jack-of-all-trades Smith would be cast in the lead role as a man who avenges his mysterious kidnapping. Plans for the film have not been finalized as DreamWorks is trying to acquire the rights to the original film, and the new version would be distributed by Universal. I like their tag team.Good luck!

Ellen DeGeneres 'Saddened' By Proposition Passing

My Idol and Talk-show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres is getting serious and expressing her disappointment for the passing of a California proposition!

DeGeneres says she is "saddened beyond belief" that California's Proposition 8 passed, a proposition that would ban same-sex marriages, says the Associated Press.

She told the AP Wednesday that although the nation took a huge step forward with the election of Barack Obama as the first African-American president, "we took a giant step away" with the passing of Prop 8.

The comedienne, who reportedly contributed $100,000 to combat the proposition, married actress Portia de Rossi last August after a Supreme Court decision last May legalized same-sex marriages in California. I'm supporting same sex marriage. I believe there is nothing wrong when two people who are in love to get married.
