Last Thursday, my cousins and friends were united to have one mission ... to get fit.. Yes indeed!! One morning we just decided to run and then night run follows. It's nice to have company and after a good run we share what's our experiences during our respective runs. I'm so happy that they finally made a move..A good move to have a healthy body and sound mind. I hope it will continue as long as we can.

This coming Sunday the Tacurong Runners Club will be joining Milo Half Marathon to be held in General Santos City. I've been preparing for this event because this race is time pressured. They have several rules but one rule you should oblige is to finish the 21 kilometer race within 2 hours and 30 mins. This will test my stamina and endurance to finish the race with allotted time. I'm just believing myself I can finish it. I'm just optimistic to win my 2nd medal and gain friends. Good luck to us runners!!! To God be the Glory!!!

Last Saturday, I woke up early in the morning to run. My mind was all set where my route is. I don't know what I felt during that morning in the middle of my run. I just stop jog and then walk. For more than an hour I walked for 5 kilometers. In the afternoon before it gets dark I redeemed myself. I ran for 5 kilometers in near the city hall. And boy! the sweat that I was looking in the morning was finally released. Soaking wet as usual and makes me alive. Yummmy!!!

Just this morning I ran for 15 kilometers and boy! It was fulfilling. As usual I have a problem in getting up my bed. I started my running activity for about 5 in the morning. I began to stretching in our house after 7 minutes I proceed to the road where my favorite place to run. Before I begin to run I made sign of the cross and pray the rosary and Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. I used the rosary bracelet that my brother gave me when he went to Cebu City. My morning start to praise God and thank Him for the distance that I reach and for my pacing. Truly it is a great morning. I will make it as a routine..

Recently, this yoga for runners was introduced to me and boy! I find it soooo ammazziing.. Not only helps you calm your mind it also helps your breathing and flexibility as well. I was hesitant at first I thought its just waste of time to do yoga. But I was wrong my experienced doing yoga prove that. Big factor is I have now balance posture and later on I can manage some difficult exercise. I never imagine I can do it for a long period of time. I now believe your muscles can be flexible if your doing it with passion and dedication in time. I'm doing yoga for almost two months now, once a week,for one and a half hours. You can feel your muscles hurts so bad but I'm sure its in the good way. I'm encouraging my readers to try yoga.

I feel proud and very happy because the first time I run for 21k I made it to the finish line with the time of 2 hours and 20 minutes. My last kilometer I gave it all i sprint just to catch the number 9 finisher. But I failed, she was faster than me. She maintain her pace. It doesn't matter what my place is what matters most is I made friends.Number 9 and I became friends that's priceless.:)

This is the way we bond. This is the way we share our time. This is the way we show our love. This is the way we do it. My brother has a great influence in my running activities. I saw the transformation that running has brought him. It inspires me somehow. I was stumble the first time I run. It's true when you're just starting to run the thought of giving is always on your mind. But with severe perseverance to attain your goals to get fit of course. You will make it. It takes time. Thank you my brother for introducing running in my world.
