Amy Poehler Replaced on Popular 'SNL' Segment?

The very lovely Amy Poehler's recent departure from "Saturday Night Live," will someone step up to fill her shoes as co-anchor of the show's popular "Weekend Update" segment?

For now, the answer is no! "SNL" creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels tells the New York Post that "Update" anchor Seth Meyers will be going "solo for the foreseeable future." Meyers anchored the popular segment alone last Saturday when Poehler gave birth to her son, Archie.

Michaels also told the paper that the show may bring on new female cast members, and did not confirm or deny rumors that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama would appear on the series Saturday night, mere days before the Nov. 4 election. Her blond hair is perfect for her.
