'Dancing''s Cloris Leachman Gets Special New Year's Day Honor

Cloris Leachman better think twice about staying up too late this New Year's Eve. The very next morning, she'll serve as grand marshal of the 2009 Rose Parade.

The "Dancing with the Stars" contestant and Oscar winner will topline the 120th Tournament of Roses in Pasadena, says the Associated Press, an elaborate parade that precedes college football's Rose Bowl championship game.

Cloris, 82, is holding her own on "Dancing" with pro partner Corky Ballas. She won an Oscar for best supporting actress in 'The Last Picture Show' (1971) and scored Emmys on sitcoms ranging from "Mary Tyler Moore" to "Malcolm in the Middle."
