Miley Cyrus Rewarded for Helping the Chicks

This is awesome. People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is recognizing Miley Cyrus after they heard of her showing kindness toward the chickens that were on the set of her film 'Hannah Montana: The Movie.' The actress/singer is said to have taken one of the chickens home to keep as a pet. She also is said to have packed up a few more birds to send back with her mother. PETA sent Miley a framed Compassionate Citizen Award and card signed by their staff for her kindness toward the birds. Miley's film -- based on the Disney Channel television show about a teenage girl living a double life-- opened with $34 million in ticket sales this past weekend. My niece Keisha is one of her million fans around the globe. Miley, please keep sake your image as a good model to children because they adore you.
